Round coin capsules ULTRA Intercept
ULTRA Intercept – the world’s only round coin capsule with active tarnish protection!
Thanks to proven technology, the ULTRA Intercept coin capsules offer a completely new form of coin collecting.
The 3 mm thick foam ring in the capsules is based on Intercept technology, which has been patented for over 30 years. The copper particles contained in the material permanently bind corrosive gases and quickly create a neutralized atmosphere that actively protects the coins from oxidation (guaranteed protection for up to 15 years*). The effect has been proven, among other things, according to the proven standards DIN, EN, ISO and ASTM. Available for all coins from 26 to 41 mm diameter (in millimeter increments).
*Under normal storage conditions, the duration of effectiveness goes well beyond the stated 15 years! Only under very unfavorable conditions (e.g. exceptionally high levels of pollutants in the air or constant opening of the capsules/boxes) can the capacity of the intercept material be used up before the 15 years have expired. You can recognize the decrease in the effectiveness of the material by a dark gray to greenish discoloration of the foil (not the coins!). In this case, you should replace the product with a new one.
