Hello, dear stamp friends! Today I would like to introduce you to some of my favorite stamps from Africa. Africa is a fascinating continent with a rich history, culture and nature. The stamps from Africa reflect this diversity and often show beautiful motifs of animals, landscapes or famous personalities. Here are some examples:

- The 1963 stamp from Kenya shows the country's first president, Jomo Kenyatta, against the backdrop of Mount Kenya. This stamp is a symbol of Kenya's independence and national pride.
- The 1994 South African stamp shows Nelson Mandela, the country's first democratically elected president, raising his hand to greet voters. This stamp is a testament to the peaceful transition to democracy and reconciliation after apartheid.
- The 1958 postage stamp from Egypt depicts the famous Sphinx of Giza, one of the oldest and largest statues in the world. This stamp is a testament to the ancient civilization and artistry of the Egyptians.

I hope you enjoyed these stamps from Africa. If you want to find out more about it, take a look at the website of the African Philatelists Association. There you will find a lot of interesting information and pictures of African stamps. See you next time!
